I’m hearing from a lot of leaders that say, “We’re probably not going to fully come back to work in the traditional style. There’s going to be a hybrid approach.”
This is the big buzzword right now, this hybrid approach, there’s been so much cost savings at an organizational level on not having to maintain these office buildings and all the travel, you better believe that organizationally there’s going to be emphasis on this hybrid approach where not everybody, in fact, a lot of people don’t come back to work.
It is important that we talk about what re-emergence will look like, because I don’t think that the image or the picture in people’s heads necessarily matches up with reality. There will be some “below-the-waterline” realities, as we say in Rooftop Leadership, that maybe you’re not thinking about.
